Hi, this made some sense, and reminded me of this thread.

Hi Pascal,
I like your quote of CG JUNG.

My first dream of the year 2019 that I remember shows Starsky (from the television series "Starsky and Hutch"), dressed in red and white (like his car) facing people symbolizing youth (Starsky, by contrast, is old). He will go to them. But instead of speaking, he will not say a word, he makes the sign "V for Victory" with both hands. His palms are turned towards him. Youth appreciates.

I think that ( American ) Pop Culture is a new religion. It's my religion. It does not replace the old one, it is a complement. But I feel closer to American culture than Catholicism.
Recently, I thought about your quote again by watching an episode of GOT.

Tyrion becoming "hand of the Queen" (World Soul):

Regarding the fire of Notre Dame, I imagine Daenerys Targaryen riding her dragon spitting fire on the cathedral.

Yesterday, Mélusine, today, Daenerys.

Yesterday Notre Dame, today the Eiffel Tower.

Dear Fox,

I hadn't seen your post until now, and the timing of it is really something.

The day before Notre Dame I had an experience that involved (in some way Gregory's hex key idea of the hs). I was looking out of a window and I started to feel that "space" start to fill me. It started as a hex-shaped point and started to expand. It was pleasant to say the least, when I started to think about it it started to fade. i had the distinct feeling that it was full of stars on a black background, space. At the same time I felt i had brought a piece of that outer down to here. Also, I could see the idea of releasing old stored energy (back of the heart open, maybe) and allowing for movement over stagnation. I could say flow and all of that but it seems too obvious.

Very happy to see you here!

Pascal

Interesting thing I just saw.

When the suffering has lasted long enough, so long that the ego and its strength are worn down and one begins to feel oneself to be "small and ugly", then at last comes that merciful moment when reflection is possible, when there is a reversal of the stream of energy, which now flows away from the outer world and towards the Self.

Hi Pascal

Welcome to the UM forum!

For the interpretation of dreams one should know the dreamer. A certain exception are archetypal dreams, and yours seem to be such dreams.

You tell us also that you experience tons of synchronicities -- and exactly here the problem could lie. My first feeling with the dreams was that you tend too much to the Logos aspect of the "unconscious." Also the interpretation of synchronicities backs this standpoint, since in them we try to find a meaning -- obviously something belonging to our mind.

A further hint to my feeling is the fact that you ask us, the people of the UM forum, for an interpretation. You surely know that there is also a Jungian forum (or perhaps some). In the UM forum we discuss an extended way to look at the "psyche." It includes what I call the body-psyche or the subtle body, or in a neutral language the matter-psyche. Carl Jung was not yet able to include this aspect into his theory. Therefore, his theory is a theory of what I call in a neutral language the spirit-psyche, the "Heavenly psyche." The sun and the stars are symbols of this one part.

During the last 30+ years I developed a theory, in which also the matter-psyche is included. Integrating this aspect would be mirrored in dreams, visions and imaginations concerning much more the earth (symbolically seen). This is what we do in this forum.

So, perhaps this could be your task. If so, I am sure that the next dreams talk somehow of the "earth."

Remo

-took a while..

I wondered what you meant for a long time re: asking about the dream. So, this is essentially post-Jung in the same way that he knew the meaning of his own dreams through his Anima.

Hi Fox,

I was reading this quote on a fb page when I thought of the salamander discussions I’ve had with Suzanne. In re-reading I was easily able to link it to your recent post.

Cheers.

-

Salamander, in Latin salamandra, comes from sal, salt, and mandra, which means stable and also rock hollow, solitude, hermitage. Salamandra then is the name of the salt of the stable, salt of the rock, or solitary slat. In the Greek language this word takes another meaning, revealing the action that provokes: the Greek word [***-125-1] (Salamandra) appears formed from [***-125-2] (Sala) meaning agitation, perturbation, used probably for [***-125-3] (salos) or [***-125-4] (zale), agitated water, tempest, fluctuation, and from [***-125-5] (mandra) which has the same meaning as in Latin. From these etymologies we can draw the conclusion that the salt, spirit or fire takes birth in a stable, a rock hollow, a grotto... That is enough. Lying on the straw of his manger in the grotto of Bethlehem, is Jesus not the new sun bringing light to the world? Is he not God himself in his carnal and perishable shell? Who the has said: "I am the Spirit and I am the Life; and I have come to set fire unto things?" Fulcanelli
