Post Woman in the city
Hi,

for the second time in a month I've dreamt of a woman with long hair. The first dream still lacks detail in my memory. The second, from a few nights ago, was very clear.

I was on the sidewalk of a city that I could describe as looking New York-ish. The part that I remember is that I looked over toward a building (hotel?) and the woman with long hair was there. She made a gesture with her right hand as if to say 'go this way'. The way she pointed to was down the street.

I should note that the day after I had to make the very tough decision to put our dog to sleep. That hurt(s).

Hi Pascal, Very significant timing. I did not notice this post before tonight well after New Year's Eve. The date you wrote this happened to be my 70th Birthday. We had some extra family members visiting during the Holidays. We were talking about some of our departed cats and dogs. I mentioned to one of my daughters that some weeks ago you had said that your dog who was chocolate in color and bearish in appearance could be passing on soon but that I did not know if he had actually died yet. I am sure you will recognize the secret meaning of the chocolate colored bear hanging on the family tree at my daughter's house... BUT... look what is next to it on the right... I did not hang any of the ornaments except the bear... so some other family member positioned "the woman with long hair" looking somewhat like a type of angel with a shooting arrow... perhaps pointing the way to the heaven for our beloved animals. Again interestingly, the Image number for this photo below is 5656. 1956 was the year I got my dog that was my best companion throughout my very troubled teenage years. She was a large black Belgian shepherd. I named her Shadow, in part after the song, "Me and my Shadow, strolling down the Avenue, Me and my Shadow, all alone and feeling blue." Perhaps some of this will be meaningful to you.

Hi Suzanne,

Happy belated: Holidays, Birthday, and New Years :) 70 seems like a significant number, as well as my most recent one of 40 (whoa).

I noticed the ornament, the girl is from the movie Brave. She reminds me of my wife, if she had brown hair. The woman in my dream did not have a scary presence at all, she seemed to be very calm and serene. No cloaks or veils that I remember, but the hair was very prominent. I can only imagine that hair is related to the nerves in an esoteric sense. The city, in my mind, would represent Jerusalem - the 'new' one.

I will write some more here in a couple of hours.

best wishes,
pascal

Hi,

the movie Brave is set in Scotland. There seems to be a York and a Scottish theme, maybe? :)

I am listening to a lecture (just noticed it is 10:37 as I start to write) titled "Samael, the Fifth Angel". The speaker states that Eden is a state of consciousness, not attainable with external effort. Instead, it is cultivated (VNS?) by causes that produce (VNS?) effects. I can describe this as embodying peace.
