UNUS MUNDUS

The UNUS MUNDUS forum of Psychovision (Remo F. Roth) invites discussion of theoretical and practical issues of a possible union of Carl Jung's depth psychology with quantum physical principles.

The fire that broke out around 15:00 for some reason, "was held
in the non-nuclear facilities and has no radiation effect on
the environment and people," said EDF.

And if he succeeds in assigning the right place to life and to fate, thus bringing the two into harmony, he puts his fate on a firm footing.

Post Will The Nuclear Nightmare Ever Stop?
It seems GE has a knack for bringing “good” things to life.

Laser Advances In Making Nuclear Fuel Stirs Terror Fear

Quote:
Scientists have long sought easier ways to make the costly material known as enriched uranium — the fuel of nuclear reactors and bombs, now produced only in giant industrial plants.

In a little-known effort, General Electric has successfully tested laser enrichment for two years and is seeking federal permission to build a $1 billion plant that would make reactor fuel by the ton.

The aim of enrichment is to extract the rare form of uranium from the ore that miners routinely dig out of the ground. The process is a little like picking through multicolored candies to find the blue ones. The scarce isotope, known as uranium 235, amounts to just 0.7 percent of mined uranium. Yet it is treasured because it splits easily in two in bursts of atomic energy. If concentrations are raised (or enriched) to about 4 percent, the material can fuel nuclear reactors; to 90 percent, atom bombs.

Backers of the laser plan call terror fears unwarranted and praise the technology as a windfall for a world increasingly leery of fossil fuels that produce greenhouse gases.

Looks like Dr. Helen Caldicott’s remarks about Fukushima fallout effects will be added to if nuclear accidents continue to happen every 25 years.

We’re talking about random compulsory genetic engineering for the rest of time. And almost all mutations are deleterious. They cause diseases like cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and dwarfism – there are over 2600 genetic diseases – I could go on and on. So what we are doing is just the most ghastly experiment, not just on the human species but on 30 million other species that cohabit the planet with us. Dr. Helen Caldicott (M.D.)

Post Scientist Warns of Nuclear Explosion in Fukushima
I guess we have all been wondering if a nuclear explosion might occur at Fuku. On 12 March 2011, Remo inquired if there was a Danger of thermonuclear explosion?. I have been keeping my eyes open to see if someone in the industry would comment on this. Well, in the following article a professor in Germany says it is a remote possibility and apparently worth warning others about (using Microsoft translate).

Scientist Warns Of Nuclear Explosion in Fukushima; Munich (AP)
5 Nov. 2011
By Sabine Dobel, dpa

The Munich-based radiation expert Professor Edmund Lengfelder warns of the possibility of a nuclear explosion — in response to the reports of an uncontrolled fission in the Japanese disaster reactor in Fukushima. It would be “a kind of atomic bomb on a miniature scale”, said Lengfelder.

“I can not estimate, however, its probability”, said the expert on radiation. Because no one knows how much enriched uranium is in the damaged nuclear power plant. The radioisotopes 133 and 135 of Xenon gas had been found. Since these are nuclear fission products, which have only a half life of about five days or nine hours, they could not have come from the time of the accident in March.”

“There is a spontaneous nuclear fission there - because anything can happen, even if they say it is not likely”… said Lengfelder.

Such an explosion would not be very large – but large enough to possibly loft all the nuclear fuel in those six reactors and spent fuel pools into the atmosphere. That would truly be a concern for the global community if that happens.
