Post Radioactive Decay Lets Mushrooms Grow !
All

It seems that the radioactive decay lets mushrooms grow much faster. See

I guess that especially Kristin and Chris are very interested in this fact.

Very cool, Remo!

I have read of many instances where a disk-ufo, or "Flying Saucer" lands, and after it's departure enormous amounts of mushrooms spring up almost immediately, creating the classic "fairy-ring".

It has been well established that these entities can eminate extremely high amounts of ionizing radiation in the high end of the EM spectrum during their manifestation, as further evidenced by close-encounter witnesses suffering severe sunburn and eye damage similar to that incurred by unprotected exposure to the ultraviolet radiation generated by arc welders.

That there is this association or relationship between the Flying Saucers and mushrooms is curious at the very least. With the mushroom, it is only the minute visible portion of the much larger organism itself that resides unknown and invisible below the surface of perception underground. Perhaps in the case of the UFO it may also be the visible component of something larger that resides in a realm undetectable to normal sensory perception?

....radioactivity makes the mushrooms 'dance'... [from the animated masterpiece "Fantasia"..]

Chris, your reply above re. implication that the 'tip of the iceberg' is all that we may yet see/know in regard to the UFO phenom is astute. Perception IS all (to perceive via the '3rd Eye' v.s. simply to 'see' with the physical ones). Maybe once one learns to put less attention(=pressure, strain) on the physical eyes, they will eventually no longer be 'harmed' by the ultraviolet end of the spectrum? Just a thought...The gift of the siddhis 'to' an accomplished yogi/n come to mind here - the subtle body (merkaba vehicle) eventually becoming it seems an impenetrable protective mechanism able to manifest seemingly paranormal effects, including the gift of spontaneous healings etc.

Thanks for the very pertinent info Remo and Chris -- hold those thoughts!

Have to add here: something really interesting has happened which I only just heard through someone else (thus no link). Apparently there has been a breakthrough in regard to the locating of land mines. It involves planting a particular species which has been engineered (though it already had this capacity to some extent) to turn a certain colour wherever land mines are present, thus making it easy to see where hidden mines lurk. The Goddess 'strikes' again - the anti-bomb seems to be manifesting in all kinds of places...! Again, it is the natural world which offers itself up -- it CAN heal itself (and thus us, in the process), but we need to understand how to interact with it properly. It's to be hoped that all sorts of new possibilities of this sort will begin to occur now.

(weird how the mushroom cap and stem is shape of a nuclear explosion..)

The Ever Delightful Kristin,

I saw the video article you are refering to on CNN regarding plants that change color in the presence of explosives.

I'm afraid that I am a little more cynical when it comes to the Goddess having to always clean up after the perpetual barbaric savagery that the "uprights" continue to inflict upon each other with whatever glorious new technologies of death the pentagon and DARPA, etc dream up.

My response to those in power would be a tad more harsh and direct.

The human race is in serious need of retooling, as it's main expertise seems to have become engineering it's own extinction in the most horrific fashions.
If it takes the manifestation of trans-dimensional mantids that perform psychic reconstructive surgery on those who need it most, then so be it.
If the events of 2012 are so traumatic that those who's psychic infrastructures are so embedded in the dominator-culture artifacts of religion, politics, and warfare don't survive... well, praise Goddess and pass the mushrooms.

Our Man in Hyperspace, Terence McKenna, has also noted on the bizarre coincidence of form between the (psilocybe)mushroom and that of the mushroom cloud that also rapidly grows after a tremendous release of ionizing radiation.

Hmmmmm....

Post latest news from the front!
All,

Just came across this tidbit, which is currently making the rounds --- "Black Fungus Found in Chernobyl Eats Harmful Radiation"

"...these findings do not mean fungi eat radioactive material and somehow cleanse it. Rather, the fungi can simply harnass the energy that radioactive materials give off."

The melanin in the fungi seem to be able to make use of ionizing radiation. The fungi actually appear to benefit from it -- yes, 'the mushrooms grow faster', as Remo pointed out!

The area around Chernobyl is rich in thriving plant matter in general.

Where to from here???

best,

(in the news also, a French astronaut is growing relatives of the mustard plant on the International Space Station to see how they respond to microgravity. He is using two sets of seeds, one from a wild strain, one from a hybridized variety, and will return to earth with his findings at the end of March. Message in poetic form? "Tend to The Garden, wherever you might be/for this very Garden, is The Mystery...:))
