Post FREE TO READ: Jungian Studies, How to Read Jung, ...........
The following papers are FREE TO READ at my Docstoc Page: http://www.docstoc.com/profile/paulbudds

The two essays in this paper are titled (1) Jung in Context: The Historical context of Jungian Analytical Psychology and (2) Schools of Jungian Analytical Psychology. They demonstrate a necessary familiarity with the field that is a prerequisite for being able to take a critical approach towards Jungian Studies in general. Of course Jungian Studies is not one within itself as the Schools of Jungian Analytical Psychology essay title makes obvious. Hence it is necessary to be familiar with Jung’s own work, it’s context and subsequent developments within the field that are often referred to as ‘Post’ Jungian.

This is an introductory text of mini essays. The author directs the reader to key texts within Jungian and post-Jungian psychology. Essay 1: How to Read Jung Essay 2: How to Read Jung on Psyche and Matter Essay 3: How to Read Jung on Mythology and Fairy-Tales Essay 4: How to Read the Post-Jungians Essay 5: Is Jungian analytical psychology Scientific?

It is argued that Sam Parnia's AWARE Study is a major breakthrough in science as it is an empirically verifiable study of the Near Death Experience. This and other deep unconcious experiences demonstrate other states of consciousness. (consciousness within unconsciousness) and with a Jungian description they can be understood. Such experiences add to scientific knowledge.
