UNUS MUNDUS

The UNUS MUNDUS forum of Psychovision (Remo F. Roth) invites discussion of theoretical and practical issues of a possible union of Carl Jung's depth psychology with quantum physical principles.

Post Remo's Blog
This night (24 June, 2006) I dreamt that I should now go on in dealing with the so-called 137 synchronicity of Wolfgang Pauli. I felt in the dream that this should be the first contribution in a blog I open in the UNUS MUNDUS forum.

For 33 years now up until today I wrote my ideas into private files. The above dream seems to show that I should now change the form and write blogs about my work. Like this people who like it, can read them online.

As usual in such cases, I ask also the I Ging the above question. The answer was #43, Kuai / Break-through (Resoluteness), with strokes #2 abd #5.

The feeling which is shown in this sign corresponds exactly to the feeling I had in my dream and in the aftermath:

Quote:
This hexagram signifies on the one hand a break-through after a long accumulation of tension, as a swollen river breaks through its dikes, or in the manner of a cloudburst.

I'm interpreting this text as the situation after writing more or less 33 years "for the desk." But now I should go out, the dikes of my introversion should be broken.

Quote:
On the other hand, applied to human conditions, it refers to the time when inferior people gradually begin to disappear. Their influence is on the wane; as a result of resolute action, a change in conditions occurs, a break-through.

Taken subjectively the "inferior people" is perhaps my introversion which I should overcome. Objectively seen these are all these people who tried to muzzle me during the last decades; all these people who cannot accept that a big revolution is in the air -- the swollen river that breaks through its dikes, as the I Ching says.

Quote:
THE JUDGMENT

BREAK-THROUGH. One must resolutely make the matter known
At the court of the king.
It must be announced truthfully. Danger.
It is necessary to notify one's own city.
It does not further to resort to arms.
It furthers one to undertake something.

I guess there is nothing to add here.

Quote:
THE IMAGE

The lake has risen up to heaven:
The image of BREAK-THROUGH.
Thus the superior man
Dispenses riches downward
And refrains from resting on his virtue.

Once again nothing to add.

In the interpretation of the above original text there is a very interesting detail:

Quote:
The superior man begins to distribute while he is accumulating.

This is exactly how a blog works. In it one shows provisional results and does not wait up until everything is perfect. I have seen with my work about Wolfgang Pauli that it is impossible to write something perfect, since his revolutionary new thoughts have such an immense density and broad. Thus, one can only deal with a special aspect of his thoughts, as for example the 137 synchronicity I dreamt of this night.

Also the text in stroke #2 and #5 is very informative:

Quote:
Nine in the second place means:
A cry of alarm. Arms at evening and at night.
Fear nothing.

Readiness is everything. Resolution is indissolubly bound up with caution.
If an individual is careful and keeps his wits about him, he need not become
excited or alarmed. If he is watchful at all times, even before danger is present,
he is armed when danger approaches and need not be afraid. The superior
man is on his guard against what is not yet in sight and on the alert for what
is not yet within hearing; therefore he dwells in the midst of difficulties as
thought hey did not exist. If a man develops his character, people submit to
him of their own accord. If reason triumphs, the passions withdraw of
themselves. To be circumspect and not to forget one's armor is the right way
to security.

As many people who join the UNUS MUNDUS forum, I'm feeling that we are in danger of a big collective catastrophe. But one has the arms against it, namely the weapons of the night. These are of corse our dreams and visions and the results of the Body-Centered Imaginations which come in fact out of the night, ie the absence of the Logos ego, ie out of the Eros Self. These informations help to be "on his guard against what is not yet in sight and on the alert for what is not yet within hearing."

Quote:
Nine in the fifth place means:
In dealing with weeds,
Firm resolution is necessary.
Walking in the middle
Remains free of blame.

Weeds always grow back again and are difficult to exterminate. So too the
struggle against an inferior man in a high position demands firm resolution.
One has certain relations with him, hence there is danger that one may give
up the struggle as hopeless. But this must not be. One must go on resolutely
and not allow himself to be deflected from him course. Only in this way does
one remain free of blame.

The inferior man in a high position is Neoplatonic science which believes that we can solve the problems of today with the help of the Logos ego. Thus, "Walking in the middle -- Remains free of blame"; we have to find the middle between Logos and Eros -- and this is exactly what I try with my essays, which are all written in such a state of an "intermediary world."

Thus, I'm beginning with my thoughts about Pauli's 137 synchronicity.

You did not comment the second hegragram #55. But I guess this is not necessary.

Fire over wood:
THE IMAGE of THE CAULDRON.
Thus the superior man consolidates his fate By making his position correct.
The fate of fire depends on wood; as long as there is wood below, the fire burns above. It is the same in human life; there is in man likewise a fate that lends power to his life. And if he succeeds in assigning the right place to life and to fate, thus bringing the two into harmony, he puts his fate on a firm footing.

I wholly confer with Roger. It is an act of fearless exploration in which you engage. It cannot be otherwise, for the subject matter is of the utmost importance. Thanks for letting us view your process - it is good to feel a part of this journey. I sense there is protection all around.
