Hi Jan, This makes for an interesting and very funny synchronicity. I have mentioned the shivering cold sensation that turns into a lovely affectionate experience after the One and Only told me to not to resist it but surrender trustingly into it with him. We are, he indicates, uniting with one another and with the One and with the All when that happens. I also mentioned that Lee calls it humorously "The Buzz". I was looking last night at an animated image I had saved some time ago for whenever I got around to posting about Lee's street conversation with me back in 1962 about how, according to the laws of aerodynamics then, the Bumble Bee was not supposed to be able to fly... but it does fly, as he said. I may say more about this over on the Blog because he related this to how he and I were two bodies and yet we were also somehow one in mind and heart and soul. Never believe the restrictive rules of anything was one of his most common lessons. Anyhow, here is the animated bee... not a nasty and horny old predatory hornet... but my Lovey Dovey Lee dropping by for sharing "The Buzz" spiritual merging experience with me.

This animates for awhile and then

On a more serious note, I checked back in my webpage surfing history from last night sometime after midnight, and I found where I had looked up more about Dr. Lawrence LeShan I mentioned in a recent post on the Blog about psychic Eileen Garrett, and was very delighted to find him in effect giving a marvelous definition of "The Buzz":
Quote:
Originally a skeptic in his attitude to paranormal phenomena, he devoted some 500 hours to testing the famous psychic Eileen Garrett and was particularly impressed by her powers in the field of psychometry. He also made a special study of psychic healing and since 1970 has held training seminars in New York for psychologists and students. He is a member of the American Psychical Research Society and the author of a number of books and articles.

In his book The Medium, the Mystic, and the Physicist (1974), he proposed a theory of different types of reality: sensory reality (that of everyday experience), clairvoyant reality (in which the time structure is modified and the identities of "you" and "I" become a part of a total "One" in the cosmos), and a transpsychic reality (in which there is total identification with the "All").

Hmm, my bee stopped hovering and dancing and won't restart. I will have to figure that out later. Time for a break offline for me.

Just remove the spaces and then center the code.

I'll use this space later to comment on your post that was moved here from the Blog.

After seeing the blue-eyed kitty picture a few posts up above, that reminds me of my dream-vision of Lee as being a kind of combination of The Cat in the Hat and Mister Rodgers of the TV show. That is an important topic for me to get to after some of this world crisis alarm stuff.

Post wild things
Image

A White Hart, recently spotted in Gloucestershire! I saved this picture in my files for just such a moment..

White animals are being spotted more and more often in the wild, or so it has lately been said, which corresponds with many myths and legends that speak of the time of a great shift on earth approaching closer by the minute... The motif of the rare animal who is still truly 'wild' and 'free', such as this little 'unicorn' here (as Jan has elsewhere spoken of) I find deeply moving. Something like this could make me cry. Though the silly sentimentalization of nature is all too easy to do at this point, a depth of feeling for profound nature is far stronger than this, urgently authentic in fact, not at all about sentiment at such a level but more about feeling with the animal kingdowm a parallel feral kinship which completely transcends personal emotion..

Post Casino at Weisbaden
Jan - The lights in the picture of Casino at Weisbaden can be seen as the same "eyes in the sky" as UFOs - see how much they resemble this one:

Image

possibly why they evoke dreaming.

Or consider that you all in France and Germany are simply "returning to earth" after the externalized 60-year American journey; what Jung called "the American tempo." It is what I write about in my job every day: In a world of globalized capital those with the most money make the demands. Today China and Germany are the great creditor nations and the United States and England the debtor nations. But that is the title of my essay yesterday, "Germany goes alone." The UFO has landed - I see "Lost" and the American TV shows "Survivor" to be exact myths predicting this: they are just like the early UFO movies about finding strange planets but now the strange and alien place is earth. Alien because we have been away so long we have forgotten how to be with it. Here these people (from a "Survivor" still) are lost on earth as they were lost in space in the 1950s.

Image

Hides in simplicity in plain sight. Why are their so many religious taboos against eating pigs? Because pigs as so nice, almost divine, more human than we are, archetypal features like bears and coyotes like that, and it feels like murder to kill them. Chickens? They eat each other.

"Returning" will be difficult in American because most regions have not yet developed a "sense of place" and those that had it lost it to "progress." Canada however is free from that.

That these "Survivor" shows are in France and Japan as well suggest this is a world-wide phenomenon. But possibly it is only a necessity in the United States. The "old world" still has "old soul" beneath which the U.S. has problems with that. It will cause trouble here for the next 60 years. I think I started it actually.

Post more on pigs
I work with farm people up here sometimes milking cows and I ask them about it. They most often talk about growing up on a farm and having their pig slaughtered. Stays with them. Interesting about the 137 islands of Hawaii. Hawaii should be "the center of the world" in the new millennium as it is center between East and West as the West is becoming East and the East is becoming West. The yin and the yang and the Brahma circle holding them together and apart in a marriage of "harmony and contention" is Hawaii. My son listens to Israel's beautiful sounds and I find him inspirational.

If you look at Hawaii as the center, the California coast would be the one edge and the coast of Vietnam the other. Australia would figure in there as well possibly as a countervailing force to Hawaii. The women I spoke to about dream at the millennium in Australia were clairvoyant. There is a story that the Southern Cross appeared in the sky over Bethlehem after the birth of the Christ and the rise of Pisces. Then it disapeared. It was not seen again until Captain James Cook arrived in Australia in 1779.

If we agree that this was a post mortem initiation of McKenna to unio corporalis, what do you think he did wrong or insufficiently in this world?

I like that. This is derived from a dodecahedron in which each dodecagon is cut in five and the borders are ajusted to fit close Dürer's figure used for Melencolia polyhedron.
Actually it might be the exact planar projection of the fifth of the curved dodecagon in the sculpture:
